Dr. David N. McLeod is a native of Chapel Hill, NC. He earned a BS in Biology with honors from Guilford College in Greensboro in 1992 and later, a Master's degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh where he studied bacterial genetics. He is a 2002 honors graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill. Dr. McLeod gained additional experience in clinical hospital dentistry at UNC Hospitals as well as pediatric dentistry at FirstHealth Dental Care Centers in Southern Pines.
Dr. McLeod is currently a member of the Guilford County Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. McLeod is highly committed to continuing education. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and Spear Education. He is working on achieving his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor recognizing excellence in the pursuit of higher learning.
Dr. McLeod is married to his wife Melissa and has a son, Matthew. In his spare time, he enjoys music, barbecue, travel, and especially participating in his son's Taekwondo training.
